Users
See who has access, change access levels, add and remove people.
Users lists everyone with access to the console. Admins open it from the sidebar, or from Manage users on Settings.
For each person it shows their access level, how they joined (Added by an admin, Joined through SSO or Signed in), when they were added, their last sign-in, and their status: Active, Not signed in yet or Removed.
For what each level can do, see Roles.
Add a user
Add everyone who needs access here. If you have the SSO add-on, people on your verified domains join on their own instead, at the level set under SSO. You can change their level here.
Only your own admins can add users, not Panoptic support.
Select Add user.
Enter their Name and Email.
Choose an Access level. The default is Staff.
Select Add user.
Lodestar does not email them. Select Copy address and send them the sign-in address yourself. They sign in with the email you entered.
They show as Not signed in yet until they first sign in.
An organisation can add up to 50 users an hour.
Change an access level
Choose a new level from the person's Access level list.
If you lower yourself from Admin, the console asks first. Another admin can change it back.
There is always at least one active admin. To lower or remove the last one, make someone else an admin first.
Remove a user
Select Remove on the person's row.
Select Remove to confirm.
They lose access straight away, and their sign-in is removed. Their past changes stay in the activity log.
Give access back
Select Give access back on a removed person's row. They return at their previous level. Only your own admins can do this.
A removed person cannot rejoin through SSO. Give them access back here instead.
