History
How long Lodestar keeps removed tools, old network use and device timelines.
Each client keeps history for 90 days by default. Longer is useful for client reviews. Only admins can change it.
Open the client, then the Settings tab.
Under History, move the History to keep slider to 30, 90, 180 or 365 days.
The setting saves on its own.
History covers tools that have been removed, network use older than 30 days, and device timelines. What is in use now is always kept.
Older records are deleted when a device reports. A retired device no longer reports, so it keeps its history and the tools it last reported.
Shortening history deletes the older records the next time each device reports. This cannot be undone.
There is no organisation-wide history setting. Set it on each client.
