Support access
Let Panoptic support into your console for a limited time.
If you need help, an admin can let Panoptic support into your console. Access ends by itself at the time shown, and you can end it sooner.
| Level | Support can |
|---|---|
| View | See everything in the console, but change nothing. |
| Make changes | Change settings, policies and devices, as an admin would. |
Neither level lets support manage billing, change support access or SSO, add users, or give a removed user access back.
Support can still get in while Lodestar is closed for billing, so it can help you sort it out.
Let support in
Only your own admins can do this.
Open Settings.
Under Panoptic support access, find View or Make changes.
Select Allow for 24 hours or Allow for 7 days.
The badge shows Allowed until and the time access ends. To extend it, select Reset to 24 hours or Reset to 7 days. The clock restarts from now.
End access
Select Revoke. Access ends at once, including a session in progress.
What is recorded
Every visit and every change support makes appears in the activity log, with a Panoptic support tag and the support person's name.
The log also records when you let support in, when you revoke access, and when support leaves a session. Access that runs out at the time shown adds no line.
