Account plans
Which plan someone is signed in with, and whether that is fine for work.
When AI account plans is switched on in Settings, the agent reports which plan each user is signed in to an AI tool with. It works for Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot in VS Code.
It reports the plan and the email domain, never the email address.
Account levels
| Level | Means |
|---|---|
| Personal | A free plan, or a personal email account such as gmail.com or outlook.com. |
| Individual | Someone's own paid plan on a work email, with no admin controls. |
| Managed | A business or enterprise plan with admin controls. |
| Approved | Approved by your team. |
| Unknown | An API key, or a plan Lodestar could not read. |
Personal and individual accounts are flagged for attention. An admin can approve one on a work email domain. A personal email account is never approved, whatever its plan.
